No See Um Lodge
The willingness of No See Um Lodge's team to provide the best for their guests, both on the water and at the lodge, has put the lodge in a class by itself. Enjoy the comforts of home and the thrill of huge wild rainbow and salmon tugging on your fly line.....No See Um Lodge, one of Alaska's first fly-out lodges, is a family-run operation that was established by Jack Holman in the early 70's. Today his son, John, who is both a pilot and a guide maintains No See Um's well-earned reputation for pampering and pleasing its guests. Everyone at No See Um is anxious for your trip to Alaska to be the trip of a lifetime. The lodge is staffed by the finest talent available, especially the guides which are the best in Alaska.
Safety conscience exceeding all standards.- Fish for the world's largest wild trout.
- Chase 5 species of salmon.
- Family run operation since 1970
Fishing
Like Alaska, in general, the fishing changes daily and consequently each angler will have the opportunity to customize each day. Whether you choose to throw dry flies to rainbows or chase whatever salmon is running the river, the flyout staff will strive each day to insure you, the angler, with an experience to remember. The guides pride themselves in helping every degree of angler on a daily basis.
It is important to note, that while successful fishing is the main goal, the lodges commitment to safety is apparent in the way they operate as well as with the equipment they use. Their fleet of aircraft is maintained to a standard well above that required by FAA regulations. Pilot standards are also more stringent than required. A safe and successful fishing trip is guaranteed to be a memorable one.
